G. L. Watson & Co. has an ongoing and deep
rooted commitment to preserving the remaining examples
of our rich yachting heritage.
We are able to offer the services of a highly
experienced team with expertise in all aspects of
classic yacht restoration. Our combined experience in
yacht restoration covers diverse restoration projects
from small racing cutters up to the largest steam
yachts. In 2000 the firm was appointed Special
Consultant to the Nahlin Project.
Although our primary concern is the preservation of
yachts designed by G. L. Watson & Co, we have an
in depth knowledge of most of the pedigree yachts
still in existence and can provide the necessary
expertise to ensure the successful outcome of any
project.
G.L. Watson & Co. are
well placed to advise on the marketing and management
of restored yachts and historic vessels. We are
pleased to have been appointed as advisors to both
private owners and preservation bodies, on projects
ranging from ocean going steamers to luxury
canal yachts.
