 New Designs
When Watson was alive he headed up the most
advanced yacht design house of its time. Much can be
learnt from practices which he established and which
subsequently became the norm only be lost more
recently.
We believe that yacht design is an
inherently progressive art. Our aim is to make use of
the elusive aesthetic perfection that Watson imbued
into each of his great designs, to create new yachts
that will set definitive benchmarks for modern
classics.
In order to achieve this we work in close
cooperation with the best of today's dynamic yacht
designers and naval architects. Our
goal is to create yachts that take yacht design
forward, by using all of the techniques developed by
those who established the parameters on which yacht
design is still based, and to combine this with current
advanced design and modelling techniques. This blend
of modern and traditional has resulted in several
exciting concept proposals. G.L. Watson & Co. has
the expertise and the vision to realise these projects.
