YACHTS SINCE 1873
We offer a portfolio of design services backed up by a keen understanding of both the regulatory environment and the possibilities of life afloat. At the heart of every design challenge is the requirement to create a vessel which meets the often conflicting criteria of comfort, aesthetics, sea-kindliness and the regulatory environment.
Through our work with classics we have developed unrivaled design expertise: the challenge of working within a predefined envelope is much greater than when starting afresh. The restoration of classic yachts entails limited co-ordination space and requires inventive solutions to meet Classification Society and Flag State rules whilst maintaining an uncompromised aesthetic.
In meeting these challenges we have deployed technologies and materials ranging from riveting to extensiive use of High Tensile Steel, from traditional carpentry to carbon fibre and composite structures. This expertise is as relevant to a new build or replica as it is to a restoration.

Designed to be fit for purpose and beautiful, our designs are relevant and reflect our understanding of life afloat and the possibilities that yachting offers.

High quality design for crew and service areas based on a detailed understanding of the operational requirements. From specialist galley design through to security watch stations, storage of tenders and water sport toys through to waste management.

Supporting non-marine designers such as interior and lighting designers to ensure that their creative input is successfully incorporated into complex yacht projects. We have worked directly with designers or for Yacht Owners as part of a wider range of services.
